            “I’m sorry Mr Fairhead,” Claudia soothed. “But I must insist that you and your staff sign the Official Secrets Act.”

            “I don’t give a stuff about the Official Secrets Act,” the grey-haired senior nurse blustered. “This is my hospital, these are my patients, and patient care takes priority over bureaucracy.”

            A handsome doctor approached Abby and rolled his eyes at her as the argument raged on.

“Hi, I’m Doctor Trueman,” he smiled. “How about you tell me what’s wrong without revealing any official secrets, eh?”

            Abby smiled back. Occasionally there were fringe benefits to being stampeded by dinosaurs after all.

It's a shame there was only 100 words to work with, I was starting to wonder which other doctors were treating other members of the team, and was about to land Connor with the arsey junior doctor Ruth.

oh, god, there's a thought - Charlie and Cutter having an argument. I really don't know which of them is the most stubborn and arsey! Although if they both ganged up together against Lester it might be entertaining...

They probably need some sort of special pass or something that means they can get people admitted to any hospital anywhere with no questions asked.

Poor Claudia, she's only trying to do her job, and ends up in a fight with the one person who most dislikes authority and being told what to do.

I'm glad Charlie sounded right. Ad Dr Trueman is about the best that you get for good looking doctors at the moment on Casualty, unfortunately (I quite like Toby, but more in a big cuddly teddy bear type way than thinking he's actually hot or anything). But Dr Trueman can be quite charming when he wants, and as far as Abby's concerned it's probably an improvement on being chased after by Connor!

I'm really not sure which would win that argument between Claudia and Charlie. They're both as determined and beligerant as each other when they have to be.
