Connor likes to sleep in late. Ryan frequently gets up and leaves him in bed, a dark mop of hair sticking out from under the duvet and the occasional unintelligible grunt the only evidence that his lover is even in there.

Ryan doesn’t mind so much. Truth be told, he actually rather likes it. It gives him time to go for a run, have a shower, read the paper, and have some quiet time before Connor’s incessant chatter becomes part of his day again.

But Ryan likes it best when he gets to decide exactly how to wake Connor up...
