“Connor, look at you, inside on a day like this! Why don’t you go out and play football with the other boys?”
He glanced up with a slightly pained look.
“Football isn’t really my thing, Gran.”
Ellen Temple sighed in despair.
No, his ‘thing’ mostly seemed to involve sitting in his room reading books about science and dinosaurs, and playing on that computer thingy.
It wasn’t healthy for a boy his age.
Besides, books and games were all well and good, but what about his future? What sort of job was he ever going to get with dinosaurs and computers?
