Wow, there's a lot going on in this episode! I'd completely forgotten about the part in the beginning with Caroline trying to correct Abby. I'm also giggling at the boat part! Oops.
The sap in me loves that scene with Connor and Abby on the cliff. I really like how you argued against the 'damsel in distress' aspect of it- I've never viewed it that way but I don't think I could have put it so aptly! I also really like how you tried to interpret Abby's actions at the end of the ep, it does seem to make little sense for Abby to try to make Connor admit to what he said if all she wanted to do was tell him he has no chance, especially as Abby's not the sort of person to initiate a discussion of feelings when she doesn't have to.
