I keep feeling slightly guilty about the word count, because really a lot of it is just summarising the scenes, which can hardly be described as original creative writing. But as much as possible I try to tease out some analysis, or draw conclusions about what that scene says about Abby, rather than just describing what happens.

I genuinely had no idea it was going to be this long when I started it, though (probably a good thing, otherwise I might never have started it at all!).
