Good point about Abby not being physically strong enough to hang onto Connor if their positions were reversed. As I mentioned to T_15, only the episode before Abby had saved Cutter's life, so it's not as if it's Abby in danger *every week* and it never happens to anyone else!
I can see what you mean about her not making more of an effort to help herself in the cliff scene, though, and the only explanation I can come up with is that she's just too exhasuted by that point, and adrenaline will only get you so far.
She certainly makes no attempt to befriend Abby.
I'd say Caroline actually goes out of her way to antagonise Abby! Leek only told her to get close to Connor and find out what he knew, but it actualy makes far more sense for her to be trying to drive a wedge between them, so that the team remain split and not talking to eah other, because that means they won't put their heads to gether and work out what Leek is up to.
Honestly, I despair of that scene with Jenny in the water!
