I'm glad people enjoyed the conversation with Abby, because there was always a dnager that it might end up reading like a huge info-dump to fill in what's been going on in the background. But of course seeing Abby again has also made Connor even more unhappy about their current situation, because really he's not cut out for this type of life, and reuniting with Abby was like waving his old life in front in front of him and then taking it away again.
Despite everything that has happened between them, at this point Connor still doesn't really know a lot about Ryan, and Ryan is normally so quiet and stoic that moments like that still surprise Connor.
