I think once the idea of writing Merlin/Gwaine for you had entered my head, I just couldn't get rid of it, so I'm quite pleased you went for the suggestion really.

Merlin and Gwaine are a pairing made for mischief! Gwaine probably misses the fun now he's a noble upstanding knight (most of the time). Although I'm pretty sure once he knows about Merlin's magic, he's just going to keep thinking up ways of misusing it for fun and mischief and accidentally-on-purpose starting bar fights.
