That conversation in the tree is a lovely one. Though it did come after some bits that got a lot of eye-rolling from me! As you mentioned, the God awful first aid - I really can't believe Abby doesn't know better than that - and the dubious decision to wait. I remember watching it and just thinking, what? They aren't even going to *try* to find Danny? But I'll go with your charitable explanation that Abby didn't want to put Connor in more danger. *g*
